The tax lists published in Volume XVII of the Third Series of the Published Pennsylvania Archives contain the Eighteen-Penny Tax and supply tax lists for Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The county tax lists include the return and assessments for the Eighteen-Penny Tax for 1771, 1772, and 1773; and the Supply Tax for 1779 and 1782. Taxpayers are listed by township and as in the case of the Eighteen-Penny Tax the number of acres, horses, cattle, and servants are also listed. The Lancaster County, Pennsylvania tax lists in Volumes XVII of the Third Series of the Published Pennsylvania Archives also include the taxpayers for the area of Lancaster County that later became Dauphin County and Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.
