Search the muster rolls related to the Associators and Militia for Lancaster County, Pennsylvania during the Revolutionary War in seconds using this CD-ROM. Volume VII from the Fifth Series of the Pennsylvania Archives was originally published by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1906. This volume was reprinted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in order to correct the errors and omissions in previous published material in the Second Series of the Published Pennsylvania Archives. Found within the muster rolls are lists of officers and soldiers, service dates and their rank. Since all able body white males between the ages of 18 to 53 where required to bear arms, the muster rolls serve as an informal township census. In some cases, the date of enlistment and discharge is noted.
