Search for your Pennsylvania War of 1812 soldier in Volumes VII-X of the Sixth Series of the Published Pennsylvania Archives. This four-volume set lists all the Pennsylvania volunteers and drafted men who served during the War of 1812 and the Mexican War. Pennsylvania served as one of the key states in the War of 1812. Within these four volumes you will find muster rolls, payroll lists, pension lists and other documentation for Pennsylvania soldiers who served during the War of 1812. Extensive lists are provided for the 1st through 16th Divisions. The pension lists include close to 5,000 pension applicants for soldiers and widows. If the applicant was a widow, the widow's husband is listed.
